Absolute Contraindications
Do NOT take GLP-1 if you have:
- Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) - personal or family history
- Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2)
- Known allergy to tirzepatide or ingredients
Relative Contraindications
- History of pancreatitis
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Severe gastroparesis
- Diabetic retinopathy (discuss with doctor)
